As you can see from the pictures above, I've been rather busy! I started a home business, selling things I enjoy making: melt & pour soap, bath salts, and milk baths. My online store isn't making any money, but I'm getting tons of orders offline. *lol*
I'm sorry I haven't been on in quite a while. It's been rather hectic here. My daughter is getting so big, and demanding more attention - instead of less, like I heard from many was supposed to happen. She's not clingy or whiny, but she loves to have people around just for the company. She watches too much TV, and it's a pain just to get her to go outside most times. We're trying, though. She's such a joy, really, and I'm so blessed to have her.
My husband has started his own blog, but accidentally posted a couple of times below. Sorry about that. It's more of a food diary, but he hasn't posted there in a while. We all got sick here, and we're now at the point where we're feeling well enough to do more OUTSIDE the house. I still tire easily, and have to rest more. This cedar is kicking my butt, making my asthma act up. I have to sleep with a vaporizer at night so that I won't wake up coughing/choking. And I now have to carry my inhaler with me everywhere. *ugh*
My daughter and I accompanied my sister to TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) yesterday and Thursday. I've been going with her every year since she became a teacher, and this is my daughter's 3rd time. As usual, she was a HUGE hit with everyone. People kept coming up to us and saying how cute and beautiful she is/was. And I mean everywhere! *lol* Unfortunately for her, my best friend and his wife were there and he kept picking on her. He picked on her more than he picks on me! Poor baby...But she got him back - she got BoSsY with him. That's my girl! Anyway, it was tons of fun. As usual, we got back home the first day all worn out and with sore legs. This year, though, I took an Advil and I had instant relief. I was able to walk at the convention yesterday without wanting to scream in pain. And unlike in recent years, I *DIDN'T* spend tons of money on cool music stuff or get tons of junk flyers and such. Yay!
Right now, I've been concentrating on increasing my inventory and purchasing supplies. Everything comes out of my own pocket, not my husband's, so money's tight. I hope to increase my online sales soon, but I know it's going to take time. At least my offline sales are doing okay. I even list on eBay, but the bath salts and milk baths don't sell very well. One of my friends bought 1 that I had listed, because she loves the scent and is supporting me as much as I support her eBay business. If you want to check out my eBay listings, my userID is "jaystwin". I don't have very much right now, because most of the stuff I recently listed didn't sell and I don't have enough courage at the moment to relist. Not even the person who asks me to list items for her to buy is buying from me! That gets me so MAD! She's asked me - again - to list some bath salts, saying she was watching the ones I had listed and didn't realize the listings had ended and so she didn't get a chance to buy them. You know what? That's just her tough luck. She hasn't bought any of them yet, and it costs $$$ to list these things. Grr! The nerve of some people...
Well, I should get to bed now. It's late, and I'm tired. I've had a very tiring weekend so far, and I've got a rather annoying need to cough up a lung. I hope this blog entry finds all my readers well. Take care of yourselves, and don't forget to check out my auctions and my website!
*hugs*

I am sorry about my food diary posts. Although, I do see how they might be slightly amusing to some of Pro's readers. As a friend of mine says, I am still learning how to use the Internet.
