HaPpY BiRtHdAy!!!!!

Happy birthday to me...
Happy birthday to me...
Happy birthday, happy birhtday...
Happy birthday to me!!!

*sigh* I'm 30yrs. old today. No, I'm not happy about it. I've been reminded of my age roughly 3 times today, twice by the same person, I could have cheerfully kicked everyone's butt for the reminder. Already, I have problems reading and seeing stuff on my computer monitor and the TV. That's been going on for a while, though. Geez, I hope I don't need bifocals already...

I've been busy this past weekend. I had some soap orders from a few of the teachers at my daughter's daycare, and one of the parents. ALL FOR THE SAME SOAP MOLD, and 10 of those sets were the same scent. (Teacher Set, in cucumber melon - just like the Bath and Body Works one). I would've been okay if I'd had 2 of that mold. The more orders that came in for that mold (and that stupid scent I now could cheerfully kill it's maker for), the more stressed I became. So I got on eBay and looked through my suppliers to see if anyone had the same one. I found one, bought it a week ago today, and have been anxiously awaiting its arrival in my mail box since last Wednesday. It's not here yet, and I needed these soaps done yesterday. So, having only the one mold, I used my freezer to cool the hot soap faster and got them all done shortly after midnight last night. *sigh* I REALLY needed that mold. I'd have been done sooner. Oh, well. I got through it, and have now realized I need at least doubles of all my molds. I don't EVER want to make that set or use that scent again! I don't even want to SMELL that scent!

My husband has learned how to make a brisket, and it's DeLiCiOuS!!!!! He's made 2 in the past 2 weekends, and I'd be in heaven if we could afford for him to make it all the time. He's so proud of himself. This last one was a little tough, but I wasn't complaining. I liked it like that. We had our birthday celebration on Sunday, and he made an 8lb. brisket and my annual yellow-cake-with-chocolate-frosting birthday cake. Mmm...It was yummy! And my favorite! My daughter frosted it and decorated it with Scooby candy. *lol*

Instead of going out somewhere today, my husband made dinner. He made beef stir fry and white rice. Mmm...yummy! He also washed the dishes (it was my night to wash them) and bathed our daughter. Yay! I had a free day, with nothing to do. I spent my birthday $$$ from my BIL on a movie, "High School Musical". I LOVE that movie! I have the soundtrack, too. The Easter Bunny gave me the soundtrack, though. I also go a gift card to Barnes & Noble, whatever my mom bought me which I'll get tomorrow, and 2 classical clarinet CDs. And whatever my sister gets me, if she gets me anything. All in all, it's been a good birthday. Nice and quiet, which is good since I'm somewhat sleep deprived.

Our DVD player broke last week. *sigh* So we now have to watch our DVDs on our computers, or watch VHS movies. Honesly, there just hasn't been any time to watch any movies. The only one who gets to watch a movie is my daughter! *lol* Anyway, the DVD player broke right at the end of "Tristan & Isolde", which I was watching with my niece. Ticked us off to no end! I even put in a different movie, to see if it would work with that one, but it didn't. We got all sorts of error messages. So I told her to take the movie home with her, so that at least ONE of us could see the end. I got it back on Sunday, when she came over for the "barky-pew", as my daughter calls it. *lol*

My daughter is on summer vacation until Tuesday. That's the first day of the summer term. My husband took the rest of this week off, mainly for my birthday. I've also got a neurology appointment on Friday morning, and he had taken that day off when I told him about it a month ago. He's got Monday off, too, for the holiday. So he has a 6 day weekend, and is looking forward to it. So am I, since I can sleep past 6:45am for the next few days. Tomorrow, we're going to Barnes & Noble, and Thursday is Zoo Day for him and our daughter. I have a free "day", but I won't be able to do anything without a vehicle. We have one SUV and one motorcycle. And since I don't have a motorcycle license, much less know how to drive one, I'm stuck at home. *sigh* Oh, well. At least I'll have some books and my computer.

I should be practicing my HTML with this entry. But I'm too tired. My eyes are just barely open as it is. I don't know if it's from the sleep deprivation or my eye allergies. But they've been bothering me since late this afternoon. So I need to get off my nice computer that kept me company for a bit today. I love my computer. My husband built it for me. *sniff, sniff* Anyway, I'm off! I hope I don't take too long posting another entry again. It's been exactly 3mths. since my last entry!

*hugs*
