Well, tonight at dinner we were talking about it again. I don't know how it came up. Well, I don't REMEMBER how it came - there's a difference. Oh! Never mind! We were talking about my niece's bags of stuff that she left here yesterday. She's on a skiing trip through her school for the week - left early this morning. R asked where she had gone, and A said she went someplace where there's lots of snow. We were supposed to go skiing ourselves this month, but we opted for our annual vacation at the beach last summer instead (less expensive). Anyway!!!!! She said she wanted to go to the snow place. And A said okay, we'll go next year. Then I told her that we could go to the snow place or we could go to Disney World. She still wanted snow. Then I told them both that we could eat with Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, and others. They both changed their minds real quick!
A did because it would be a great experience for her, and he knows how much she loves Mickey and Minnie. We told R that we've gone once before, and we loved it. Totally left out the part where A got sick from the stomach flu and we missed a day at the parks. He also told her that I've got a bunch of pictures from when we went, and asked if she wanted to see them. She got excited and wanted to see them right then. However, A had to find them in the storage shed, so we convinced R to take a bath while he did that. Before her bath, though, I remembered having sent off for a Disney World vacation planning kit a few years ago. I told her about it, and I went and looked for it. I found it, and told her we could watch it after her bath when her daddy was done with the dishes.
So, a quick bath it was. Then we came down and looked at the booklets that were in kit while A cleaned up the kitchen. Then A told us about having brought in the pictures, so we put the booklets away and went through the pictures. She wanted them all, so it's a good thing I always got doubles back then.
(She collects pictures.) Finally A was done in the kitchen and we popped in the video to watch. Oh, my!!!!! R was in heaven!!!!! She saw the part where we can do a character dining experience, and she asked if we could do that and if she could talk to Cinderella for a while. *lol* And she said she wanted to stay at one of the resorts. Yikes! Last time we looked, they were freakin' expensive!!!!! She was enthralled with the video. At one point she told me that she thought we'd have to watch it again tomorrow. *lol*After it was over, I told A what R said about wanting to stay at one of the resorts. He didn't think it was in the budget, but I told him I got 2 websites from my bow makers group that had savings and stuff. So I got on the laptop and looked. Right now, I'm waiting for a quote from a site called Small World Vacations, Inc.: www.WDWVacations.com. A found that site through www.mousesavers.com. I forget who the other one is, sorry. I got a quote from the Disney site already, a little over $1,500 for 7 days. There were some things through the Disney site that I couldn't get for the dates we're planning on going, so I'm hoping that the travel agents will be able to include them. It might be more, though, because I added the Dining Deluxe package (or whatever it's called). You get 3 meals and 2 snacks a day per person, and one of those meals can be redeemed for a character dining experience. Not sure if we want to do breakfast or dinner for the character dining. Probably breakfast, though, because R will be too tired from her long day at the park.
None of this, however, includes air fare. *gulp* I *HATE* flying. I avoid it at all costs. But it would be more convenient to fly than to drive. It'll take about 3 days to get there if we drive, whereas it'll take at least 4.5 hrs. to get there if we fly. With a 4 yr. old, which do you think we'll choose? Plus, she wants to fly. *double gulp* It'll be her first plane trip. A figured it would be about $1,000 round trip for the 3 of us. Ack! We'll be having to save almost $400/mth. for this trip, not including the $$$ for extra food and souvenirs and such. I've already planned on PUSHING my businesses, to try to come up with some extra pocket money for the trip and for buying stuff that we need. Maybe, if I work really hard at it, I can save $100 a paycheck of the $200 I get for clothes and such. *triple gulp* But if it helps with expenses, I have to at least try.
So...Anyone need homemade: hairbows, soaps, lotions, shower gels/bath bubbles, bath salts, and/or milk baths? Or a tutu? I sell them!!!!! I've got a website, but it's not working properly at the moment. I'm going to spend more time on it, and taking pics of what I have and such. I'm also an independent consultant for The Body Shop at Home. New catalogs are coming out the 8th, so I'll be ordering some then.
Till next time!!!!!

This was actually a couple of nights ago. I copied and pasted from another blog I have. I really need to try to keep this one updated.
