Sea World

We had my company picnic at Sea World on Saturday. Even with it raining when we first got there, we had a great time. I am not a big fan of amusement parks, but this was quite different. The shows were really enjoyable, I think mostly because they showcased two things I really like, the water and marine life. The first show we went to had acrobats/high divers, dolphins and beluga whales. It was really exciting. The whales looked like large dolphins with large rounded heads.

The other show we went to was Shamu. This is the show with killer whales (or orca). These animals were spectacular to see. For being so large, they are extremely agile and quick. I must say, this show was worth the trip by itself. It was a privilege to be close to these unique animals.

The last thing we did was go see the clydesdales and the coral reef. The clydesdales were huge. The cool thing though was the coral reef. There was all kinds of marine life in the indoor aquariums. I saw many different species of shark, some rays, and a moray eel. The sharks were amazing. It was weired to be that close to these animals that we see on TV and in the movies. They do look scary, especially the ones that swim around with their mouths open, exposing all the teeth.
