Hi, everyone!!!!!

Well, I've been MIA for a while. I'm sorry about that. But I see that Andy has been posting off and on. That's good! What to say...?

Well, Reyna's been doing a lot of tickling lately. She's also helping to wash her hair at bath time, and "helping" with her diaper changes. I'm teaching her facial parts, and we started with her nose today. She can point out her nose now, and ours. Well...not really. That is to say, she grabs ours when we ask her where ours is, and covers hers when we ask her where hers is. She covers her nose because when I was showing her where her nose is, I would squeeze it and say "honk, honk". She doesn't like it when people mess with her nose, just as I don't. *lol* Like mother, like daughter.

We found out the hard way NOT to give her chocolate milk. She gets wwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy too wired. And she LOVES sweet tea. I've got to tell Julie to quit giving her all that sugar...I still give her water, juice (once a day), and plain milk. She doesn't care for soda, but she likes the cups and straws that come with it. *lol* She eats cheeseburgers with mustard and ketchup, but only 1/2. I've also given her an egg salad sandwhich, and she loved it. She didn't even touch the tuna sandwhich I tried to give her a few days later. Like me, she loves Danish butter cookies. I give her one, and like me she's quiet for a couple of minutes. Then complains when it's gone, so I give her another one. She doesn't care for chocolate chip cookies. She's not much of a chocolate fan, the weirdo. She also doesn't much care for cakes and such. I'm glad. Unfortunately, she still won't eat real veggies and fruits. She's still eating Gerber jars in that area. The entree, though, is table food.

This is her last semester in daycare. While she was on Christmas vacation, I learned that it's much easier to "deal" with her now that she's mobile and able to entertain herself for longer periods of time. I'm able to do what needs to be done without having her attached to a body part and crying for my attention. She was only in school 2 days a week, but it was great for me. I could do stuff without her attached to me, and get some rest, and run some errands on MY time. I'll kinda miss that, especially since I was able to go to the movies a few times. But I really enjoyed my time with her over the holidays. So May is her last month. I'm sure she'll be confused and sad, but I think it's for the best. I hate to take her out of school, though. But right now, we really need that tuition money.

Reyna is starting to try to climb up on the couches now, and some of the chairs. She can't do it yet, but she's getting there. Oh, joy...Andy finally okayed a play set for the back yard. I'm doing some research on that, so that we can get the best we can afford...and one that will last a few years. Hey, I'm a practical person. I like things to last, especially kid stuff.

Well, I guess that's it for now. I hope all our readers are doing well, and that you've survived the holidays.
