Today was a day of working on stuff. My bike just rolled over 8,000 miles, so today was designated my oil change day. I also need to replace the spark plugs and synch the carbs, but that will have to wait until another day.
The oil change went smoothly, except for when I was pouring the used oil back into the quart containers. I poured a little too fast, and the funnel fell over, dumping oil on the floor.
Our robe hook in the bathroom fell off this morning. The adhesive finally just gave away. I replaced it with another hook and some adhesive tape. It appears to be working fairly well, but time will tell.
Finally, my old computer has been locking up. It is a 4 year old AMD Thunderbird 750. The problem seems to be that the CMOS settings default to 1.75 volts for the CPU. That is a little high. I bumped it down to 1.7, which appears to be making a difference.
