Well, here it is...July...*sigh* Already, summer vacation has gone by so fast. I'm not ready for the school year to start. Wait! What am I saying? My baby's in daycare 2 days a week, so it doesn't matter. *lol*
I started an eBay store. It's called "Provi's Place". The link is above, just click on the title of the post. Check it out. Browse. Buy something. Browse some more. BUY SOMETHING. There's not much in the store right now. I want to wait a bit before I add more. I don't want to have a huge eBay fee to pay at the end of the month, and not have sold anything. Know what I mean? I'm selling eBooks in my new store, as well as some of my homemade pampering products. I'm hoping I'll get some business soon. I just set the store up last night, and I've been waiting IMPATIENTLY for someone to buy something. *lol*
We could really use the money here. I hate that I don't "contribute" anything to help with the bills, since I just stay at home all day and care for my little girl. No, I'm not wasting my college education. I'm doing what I want to do, and I'm doing what I need to do. Yes, money's tight, but I'm happy to be at home. I wouldn't have it any other way. With my business, I can contribute a very small amount to the bills. Andy's greatful, and I get a good feeling when I hand over what little money I can spare. Unfortunately, I've only been able to do that once. *sigh* I had to "take out a loan", but I'm happy to say that it's paid off in full. Yay!!!!! *happy dance*
On another note...I now have a sewing machine I can use. Well, make that 2 sewing machines. One's an antique that was my mom's - but no one remembers how to use the darn thing. I've always wanted to sew, but no one really had the patience to teach me. My older sister taught me the basics, and let me tell you: it's been practically non-stop sewing ever since. I just can't stop! I LOVE IT!!!!! I've already made a patchwork tablecloth and a "tent" for my daughter. I've got another "tent" and some curtains for my daughter's room lined up, as well as binding a quilt (?) and sewing some ribbon to some fleece blankets. Oh, and another patchwork tablecloth - though that material may be turned into placemats instead. Oh, and a table runner for my mom. Oh, my goodness! I can't wait! Now I just need the TIME to do all this. Between the 2 stores and my little girl, I don't have much time to sew or do anything else. I try, though. Whenever I get some free time, you can usually find me at the machine sewing away.
My little girl's got her very first UTI. *sigh* It's been horrible. Not only that, but she's constipated again: I forgot to give her her "poopie medicine" twice last week. *sigh* So we're dealing with 2 issues right now. Actually, her UTI is much better. But we have to keep an eye out for a relapse because of the constipation. (She has chronic constipation, and is regularly being seen for this.) We also have to lay down with her so that she'll fall asleep. And even then, we're not guaranteed that she'll sleep in her bed all night. Most nights, she'll wake up screaming for us and she ends up in bed with us. Whereas it used to be Andy who was hanging on to the edge of the bed for dear life, it's now me who's hanging on. *sigh* My poor back can't take it anymore.
Well, that's all for this episode, folks. I hope this installation finds you all alive and well. Happy Independence Day!
*hugs*
