I DID IT!!!!!

I DID IT!!!!! I DID IT!!!!! I FINALLY DID IT!!!!!

I PUT DOWN A SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR A BOOTH/SPACE AT THE LOCAL CRAFT MALL!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Yeah, I did. I applied for my tax ID number yesterday (or rather, Thurs., since it's Sat. already). So I had it already when I went to get the booth. Yes! I have my space, I have my move-in date (Aug. 1), and I have my tax ID number. I'm set...

For the most part...

To start with, I'm going to push out the inventory I already have here at home. J and I pretty much know already what I've got here. But I'm still gonna make stuff to sell in my booth and website: hairbows, headbands, tutus, more: soaps, bath salts, milk baths, and candles. I *might* make some more kids floor pillows, but I'm not sure. I'll push out what I have now for pillows, and go from there. I've got lots of fabric, so that's not the problem. I'm just wondering if any of that stuff will SELL. I'd REALLY like to get it out of the house.

J walked around the mall, looking at all the different booth/space displays...getting ideas for mine. We pretty much have my space planned. I just need some decorations or something. I've got some wood boards that she's gonna give me, painted a pretty blue - I just need A to cut them down to size. I bought some hooks or pegs or something from the hardware store. I've got plenty of fabric and tulle, so I can incorporate those into sprucing up the space. I'll be getting some lattice for the clips. And there's an outlet right above my space, so that makes it easier for extra lighting.

J and I worked out a "schedule" of sorts of what to make/do and when. Cleaning, of course, is on the schedule...Every day...But only spot checks on Saturdays and Sundays...With Friday up in the air (I'd like a day off, you know...). I really hope I sell enough every month to keep the space or to upgrade to a bigger space. It would really help us, financially.

On a different note...

A took R to the zoo today. I stayed home because J and I had other plans. A and R really enjoyed their time together today, and I'm glad. The zoo trip was almost canceled because R kinda threw up from all her coughing, and she doesn't like throwing up. (Let's be honest: Who does?) She wanted me, and she wanted to come home to be with me. A told her, though, that if they came back home they weren't going back to the zoo today. She changed her mind real quick. She sucked it up and told A to keep going, since they were almost there. *lol* I hadn't heard from them all day, except when I called to ask him a question. They did fine. They even went to the tea garden. I'm so jealous! I've always wanted to go there, but never have. Grr...

We had what I called "Southern Chinese" for dinner tonight: chicken fried rice (that chicken helper box) with sweet corn bread. *lol* I'm paying for it now, since I'm allergic to corn - I get a mild rash. But I *love* the stuff...

I made up a chore chart for the 3 of us. It doesn't have anything on it yet. Other than the title and our names, it's blank. A and I need to sit down together to fill in our chores. And yes, R *IS* included in this. I know she's 4, but she's old enough to help.

I'm gonna end this now, 'cause I thought I saw someone out of the corner of my eye at the stairs. But no one was there when I whipped my head around. Kinda scary up here, somewhat dark, with A and R sleeping downstairs...

Yikes! I'm scaring myself more...
