Great Wolf Lodge Day 1

WEll, Day 1 has come and gone. We got here to the Great Wolf Lodge safely and soundly, though I'm sure A and I were ready to pull out our hair by the time we got here. *heehee* The girls were so excited to see Dallas and all it's buildings! I wish y'all could have heard them... As soon as we got here and got checked in, we found our room and realized that it's a freaking LONG walk from the elevator to our room. Ack! I just go at my own pace and let the other 3 go ahead of me. No sense in having them hang back to wait for me, right? It's a GREAT room, BTW...The girls have a Wolf Den, and the main part of our room has a queen sized bed, a hide-away, coffee table, a table and chairs, TV, and dresser. The bathroom and sink are by the door, of course. *sigh* But the girls are thrilled with their little room. I'm not sure how A and I are going to fit on this bed, what with my big pregnant stomach. Hmm... A brought in all the bags, but he had the girls go down with him the 2nd time around. They kept telling him not to forget to bring this or that, so we said it was easier for them just to go with him so he wouldn't forget anything. But the girls forgot to bring in my granola bars that they dug into on the drive up. So no I have nothing when I do my bedtime insuling shot. Well, I can go to the vending maching 10K miles away, but I'd rather not. Like I said, it's a long walk... There's a restaurant on our floor, so we decided to eat dinner there. It was good. The girls were presented with wolf ear headbands, and they were happy about that. I have no idea what happened to them, though. Probably somewhere in their den, which I already had to make them clean. *lol* Silly girls... Since I'm on my iPad, I can't upload the pictures that I took this evening while A and the girls were swimming. I didn't swim tonight. Shortly after we got in our room, I had some nasty contractions - the worst I've had so far. Dang... But the girls and A had a lot of fun, I know that. They stayed in the indoor water park tonight, and will try the outdoor one tomorrow. With my pregnancy, I can't do much. And I'm sure as hell NOT going on the slides!!! Wow, those are high up! I left A and the girls shortly before 8pm in the water park. It was hot in there, and I was tired from the contractions. The girls were SUPPOSED to go to story time at The Great Clock at 8pm, but A said they changed their minds and they ended up staying in the park instead. They didn't get back to the room till after 9pm, when the indoor water park closes. But they had a lot of fun, and I turned down the AC in the room to 60 degrees. *heehee* Oh, and I'm STILL hot. *grr* I brought my little clip on fan from home, and it's set up on one of the lamps next to the bad. However, I can't get the darn thing to point the air at me. OH, well. It cools off the room, still. Before I log off for the night, let me just say there are 2 things I hate about this place: the elevators that don't close, and the wristbands that don't ever come off while you're here. Blech... Tomorrow...I don't know yet what we're going to do. I know they want to do MagiQuest, but I don't know what else. The girls and I are gonna decide right now. Good night!!!!!
