Vacation Day 2

Day 2 has FINALLY come to a close. *lol* It's been a long day, at least for me. Waking up several times a night to use the bathroom or get myself comfy again in bed is tiring. But we all had fun today! We started out with a breakfast buffet at The Loose Moose Caboose. $50, we walked away full and happy and ready for the day. Since the girls wanted to go shopping, I sent A back to our room so he could have some time to relax or whatnot. I took the girls shopping, where they got in trouble in one of the shops for disappearing on me 3 times. They got the message the 4th time I warned them. After the shop, they did the wolf stuffing station, which is like Build-A-Bear Workshop but at a mall stand. Weird. Then they dragged me to the MagiQuest shop, where they built and activated their wands for the game. And THEN they dragged me around to do the first quest. Talk about confusing!!!!! By the time they finished all that, it was about 11am and I was ready for some serious swimming. So we came back up to change and then went down again to swim. *lol* We swam for a little over 3 hrs. R didn't want to stop to eat, but I made her around 2:30pm. I was starving, so I got something while the other 3 went off. Then I made them get something so they wouldn't get sick. The girls shared a pretzel, a soda, and 1/2 my fries. A had a pretzel and a soda. He wasn't feeling too good from the slides. He said there were a lot of twists and rocking that made him seasick. I believe him. The wave pool made me a little sick, but I think it's just because of the pregnancy. We were all back in the room by 4pm, though I left before them. I'd had enough by 3pm. *lol* We just hung out in the room for the next few hrs. A and I "rested" on the couch with our electronic devices, then watched some TV. The girls were in their den, watching TV and making a mess - again. I've had them clean their room so many times since last night that I've lost count. I don't know how the maids got in there this morning to make their beds, but they did. A and I took them to do their next MagiQuest level around 5pm. That thing is so confusing! Turns out that you have to go to one of the magic trees every time you complete a quest in order to start the next quest. There's a little booklet that they got with their wands, but it was so noisy when I was trying to read it that I gave up. If I'd been able to concentrate, I'd have read the part where they have to go to the trees after every quest is finished. Oh, well. At least A figured it out. Needless to say, the girls only completed 1 other quest today before dinner. Then they decided they wanted to go shopping again. ARGH!!!!! Then they were tired and hungry, so back to our room we all went and ordered a pizza meal from one of the restaurants downstairs. For $25 we got: 16" cheese pizza (+ $.99 for pepperoni), a family sized garden salad, 6 breadsticks, and a 2L soda. Not bad! VERY filling, too! We have some salad and a slice of pizza left, which are in the fridge. I'll probably dig into it later when I do my bedtime insuling shot. Right now A and the girls are on the 1st floor at the Bear Paw Sweet Treats shop getting ice cream. That place has a bunch of sweets! I drooled over all the different kinds of fudge they have, but walked away. I don't trust myself in that shop, so I asked A to bring me back something. Even if it's just plain vanilla ice cream, I'll be happy! I was hoping I could get the girls in the shower 26 mins. ago, but that didn't happen. Oh, well. As long as they get in bed at a decent hour tonight, I'll be happy. They didn't fall asleep until almost midnight last night! Ugh. I gave up on them at 11:30pm so I could shower myself. When I went to shower, they were both on the floor of their Wolf Den. They were afraid of falling out of the bunk beds. When I got out of the shower, they were both fast asleep on the lower bunk. *lol* I think they're gonna do that again tonight. That's fine. I just want them to sleep! You know what they did last night? It's funny! You know those samples of shampoo and whatnot that you get in your hotel rooms? Well here you get a tube of vanilla scented shampoo, a tube of lotion, and a tube of kids shower gel. They put it ALL in their bath!!!!! *lol* They came out nicely moisturized. I'm not gonna let that happen again tonight, though, so they're taking showers and I'm gonna keep an eye or 2 on them. Well, that's it for now. Once again, I'm on my iPad so there are no pictures. I'll get some uploaded when we get back home. I'm gonna have to ask A to help me with that... Good night!
